Lawrence Bender

Lawrence Bender was born in the year 1957, 17, October. He is an American movie producer. Bender has been in the industry for over 20 years now. He rose to fame when he produced the movie Reservoir dogs in the year 1992. Since then he has created other films. Some of them include Safe, Pulp Fiction, the Mexican, Django, the Great Raid, an Inconvenient Truth and Quentin Tarantino among others.

In Bender’s career, he has been able to scoop several awards for his great works. He has also been nominated for other awards including for best picture. Bender was born to Jewish parents in Bronx, New York, USA. He was brought up in New Jersey. Lawrence Bender’s father was a college history lecturer while his mother was a kindergarten teacher. When Lawrence was in high school, he was mentored by his Grandfather. He wanted to be like his grandfather. His granddad was a civil engineer by profession.

After Lawrence completed his secondary education, he joined the University of Maine. In the year 1979, Lawrence Bender managed to graduate from the University with a degree in civil engineering. Lawrence followed his grandfather’s footsteps. Lawrence Bender decided to pursue engineering because he had earlier heard that the field had lucrative employment opportunities. While still on campus, Lawrence Bender developed a passion for dancing. When he graduated from the University, he decided to pursue his dancing career. He joined an entertainment group that used to travel around the United States performing in different shows.

After several years of dancing, Bender sustained a serious injury that brought his dancing career to an end. Lawrence later decided to pursue another career. Today, Lawrence is a celebrated entertainer. He entertained millions of people around the globe. Most of his movies have been aired on our televisions. Lawrence Bender is now a political and social activist. He is the co-founder of the Detroit project. Being an environmentalist, there was one time that he campaigned against the Use of fuel-guzzling SUV’s. Lawrence also sits on the board advisory of Harvard’s John .F. Kennedy school of government. Bender has also used his influence to support various initiatives.

Lawrence Bender Teams up with Netflix for Seven Seconds.

Lawrence Bender is now a film producer, but this wasn’t always his plan. He attended the University of Maine in order to become a civil engineer and follow in his grandfather’s footsteps. This decision was ultimately in favor of his own career, his movies have received 29 total Academy Award nominations – three of which were for Best Picture.

Bender was born in The Bronx, moving to New Jersey at a young age.

Lawrence Bender didn’t start his career in film as a producer. His first job in the industry was with Tales from the Darkside, working as a grip. A few years later, Intruder, Lawrence Bender’s first feature film was released. This was in 1989, and this year also saw the release of Bender’s second film: Tale of Two Sister.

These two films had nothing on the success of Lawrence Bender’s third film. Reservoir Dogs was released in 1992, and it marked Quentin Tarantino’s career as a director. This also began Bender’s long professional relationship with Tarantino. The two created a number of films together afterwards. They worked together on Pulp Fiction, From Dusk till Dawn, Jsckie Brown, and Kill Bill. The most recent collaboration between the two was Inglourious Basterds.

In addition to Bender’s 29 Academy Award nominations, he has been honored for his roles in social, environmental, and humanitarian causes. The UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability awarded him the Environmental Excellence Award; the ACLU gave him the Torch of Liberty Award.

Lawrence Bender’s most recent contribution to the entertainment industry came in the form of a Netflix Original Series. Seven Seconds follows the events in a town recently plagued by a tragedy. A police officer runs over a young black man, and the police force attempt to cover up the accident. An innocent man is charged with the crime, racial tensions grow in the community, and the police officer struggles with his moral code during the cover up.
